Zandvoort offers a wide variety of local spots for breakfast, lunch and dinner

  • Beach vibes all week: From February onwards, the beach restaurants are open 7 days p/w, serving fresh foods and rotating menus − from breakfast to late-nights-drinks and hangouts.
  • Downtown delights: In the town centre you'll find plenty of cosy restaurants, diners and coffee places.
  • Favourite beach restaurants (with plenty vegetarian/vegan options): Tent 6, Haven van Zandvoort, Hippie Fish, Ubuntu, Kayuca, Mango's Beach Bar, Noosa, Thalassa Beach House (fish) and many more.
  • Thai take-out and cosy diner, worth mentioning: Thao Khai

How to get to Zandvoort?

Parking in Zandvoort

Miksang guest parking 

Zandvoort is easily accessible, especially in the morning. There are two main roads leading into town: via Zandvoort-South and Zandvoort-North. Do keep in mind that on sunny days and Sundays many visitors head to enjoy the beach and the ocean, which can make it busier. 

  • As a participant, you can make use of Miksang guest parking at a very low rate (€0,12 per hour), valid in Zone A & B.
  • In and around the center, parking is paid 7 days a week from 10.00 to 22.00 (March-October).
  • There is no free parking, unless your accommodation provides it. 

By train to Zandvoort

Zandvoort is easily accessible by train

In the low season, trains run twice per hour. During the high season, this increases to four times per hour.

  • From Zandvoort NS Railway Station it's about a 10-minute walk
  • There is also an alternative route: travel to NS Station Heemstede-Aerdenhout, and take bus 80 directly to Zandvoort (until last stop or second last stop)

By bus to Zandvoort

Zandvoort is easily accessible with bus 80

  • Take bus 80 from NS Station Heemstede-Aerdenhout.
  • The final stop is right in the centre of Zandvoort, next to the Albert Heijn supermarket − only a short from the beach and the Miksang location.
